Assignment 3

Kenny stayed over night at the checkpoint. He did consider to keep on going, because it would have been a great chance to win some good distance, but he decided it was smarter to stay a little longer and to actually get warm again. He has been in the freezing cold for weeks now and it was a good chance to warm up those frozen bones. Maybe it was better to gain some new energy than just heading off.
After they continued their journey, a brutal snowstorm brushed over the land. It was almost impossible to see the own hand. Kenny quickly reacted and made sure his horses were tightly bound together, so none could get lost. The storm got even heavier, the snow and the freezing wind hurt a lot on the facial skin. Kenny decided it was best to find a shelter. They fought their way alongside a rocky terrain and found a tiny cave, just enough for the four to protect them from the harsh weather.
