Debora led her Camargue Stallion along the muddy path. She was glad to get away from the village, all those noises distracted the curious stallion a lot. Though she was quite surprised Rascal did not stop at every corner to leave his I'm-such-a-manly-dog-territory-markings everywhere. In fact he seemed to be so concentrated and alert since they've started their part of the race, growling silently at other entrants as they passed. He acted like they were on a secret mission – running ahead, checking the path and frightening away very dangerous birds... but a while ago he started to behave weird. He did not stop growling, twitching his ears and staring in a certain direction, as if something was following them...
